Janie Bradford
A Legacy of Creativity Ingenuity, and Janie Bradford embodies the spirit of the early pioneers of the Motown Sound, showcasing creativity, ingenuity, and perseverance throughout her illustrious career. The Missouri-born, Detroit transplant was immersed in a diverse tapestry of musical influences from a young age, including country music and gospel, which set the stage for her to begin her professional songwriting career as many would attribute her success to fate…..

Haywood Nelson
Mr. Nelson is an Actor, Writer-Producer, Data Science Analyst, and Film and Digital Media Executive. Haywood Nelson has been a member of the entertainment community for over fifty years. A New York born and raised actor he began his career as a child in advertising moving fast into theatre on Broadway, film and network television. Haywood has gone on to function behind-the-scenes including cinematography, screenwriting, film distribution foreign and account servicing with Tanglewood Entertainment Group, lighting technician with NBC Universal (SNL, Tonight Show) and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and lighting technician and LED video wall programmer in Las Vegas proper.
Functioning in the capacity of Business Development, Mr. Nelson has delivered in-Suite enhanced television and interactive content to the Hospitality Industry (JW Marriott and Helmsley Hotel Group) and developed telecommunications and internet solutions as content distribution channels to niche markets in Francophone West Africa and the Caribbean.
Currently, Mr. Nelson is a consultant providing strategic business intelligence, program management, streamed media content, and Web 3 solutions.
Haywood has an educational background in Architecture, Electronics Engineering, Marketing Communications, and Data Science.
Haywood Nelson is a humanitarian dedicated to encouraging and supporting the idea of exemplary STEM education and ethical behavior within our communities and to providing our youth with usable truths, technologies and philosophies to achieve this goal.
Lawrence S. Jackier
Lawrence S. Jackier is a prominent figure known for his work as an attorney and his extensive involvement in the Detroit Jewish community and is a principal with the law firm of Jackier Gould.
Larry Jackier concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, entertainment and sports, corporate finance, real estate, and estate planning. Mr. Jackier was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 24, 1942. He was admitted to the bar in Michigan in 1968. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (A.B., 1964) and his law degree from Yale University Law School (J.D., 1967). Mr. Jackier was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Sigma Alpha. Mr. Jackier worked as a law clerk from 1967 to 1968 for the Honorable Caleb M. Wright, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Delaware.
Before returning to Detroit and working with his father, he spent time working for the State Department in Washington. He has held significant leadership roles within the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, including serving as president.
His dedication to the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is notable; he served as chairman of the board of Governors from 2001 to 2019 and remains a member. He has also been active with numerous other organizations such as the American Technion Society, the Holocaust Memorial Center, and the National Committee on Soviet Jewry.
Larry Jackier is a recipient of several honors, including the Federation’s Fred M. Butzel Award for Outstanding Community Service and the Golden Torah Award. He received an honorary fellowship and later an honorary doctorate from the Technion for his commitment to the institution. He and his father are the only father-and-son duo to receive a Technion honorary fellowship. He is also a recipient of the ATS Albert Einstein Award.
